For the past couple of months, I have been working with my daughter to port
the website and the blog that feeds into it from Twiki/Blogger to static -
generated via jekyll. Last night, I pushed it into production. This will
allow me to soon retire the virtual machine I had been running on Amazon to
save expense. It also facilitates collaboration through GitHub and pull
requests because the Twiki account creation had been disabled to prevent
spam problems. Also, performance was a problem at times, but no longer.
