Movit-based transitions are working for me in Shotcut 17.06 on both Windows
and macOS tested this morning. I have not tested your command line because
I did not have convenient access to a Linux workstation at the time;
however, I see you did not specify -mixer and instead use -track and
-transition. What I do know that does not work is XML virtual clips -
loading a Movit-based XML as a virtual clip in another Movit-based
composition.
