May I suggest you check out XOSL from XOSL.org or their sourceforge site, xosl.sourceforge.net - it is not like LILO, but rather operates _before_ LILO or GRUB or any evil M$ $pawn that might lurk in the dark recesses of your disk platters (i'm digressing here...)
