Anyway, here is a website which might help. It *might* be that the 732's 
power management is not supported by the standard kernels:

here are some kernel parameters for playing around with the power 
management. You can add these parameters when booting from lilo. Press 
Esc if you're not already on the lilo command line, then enter eg. 
"linux acpi=off". If you find the cause you can add the parameters to 
the lilo.conf file.
