Ok not that I'm a Redhate fan, but in a nutshell, the redhat enterprise is aimed to be a commercial product, whilst the Fedora project is the going to be the opensource/free version of RedHat. As many of you already know, in the near future Redhat will cease to be available for download but must be bought. So there's where the Fedora project leaps into - to be the "free" version substitute for Redhat.
Mindyou, this is all in my own words - you can see the full details, in legal and technical terms, from the www.redhat.com website. -- ___ __ | \ \ /| ___|_ | Linux user #324517 | _ \ | \/ | _| / james.myweblog.com |__|_/ _\_|_||_| ___|___| .:. aka MadviP .:. > Hi list, > > I recently went to download the new RedHat Linux - and I'm quite confused. > There now seem to be three Linux's one can have?
