Hi list,

I've finally managed to setup samba correctly. All the lin and win PCs
are now using the network as they should, and I solved that permissions
problem I had.

The only thing that bothers me is that I have to be root to mount the
shares on my lin box.I used the Mandrake Control Centre to mount the
shares, and I checked the option to allow an ordinary user to mount the
shares. However, when I try to mount a shareas an ordinary user I get
the error:

Error: Unable to open credentials file!

Could someone please enlighten me to this problem? After I solve that,
filesharing will be perfect! (which still leaves printing....)
