I'm trying to get Linux installed over and ECS P6BAP motherboard and I'm getting crc errors when Linux is uncompressing. I think it's the motherboard because it's the second ECS that I've had issues with and I've twiddled with about every switch in the bios and yes, I've changed the CD drive. Now the problem is that I've just spent Lm50 on new memory (which passed memtest86 with flying colors) for the thing so, ideally what I need to find is a good motherboard that takes PC133 DIMMS and a Pentium III CPU. Sound on board would be good also. If you know of anything or have come across this before and solved the issue, please let me know.
