Great. I am wondering what kind of distros will be available to vote for...
Also, what about Open Office 2? And maybe some kind of BSD wouldn't go
amiss.. We have about 2 TB in there...

Attention All,
The MLUG mirror at http://mirror.linux.org.mt is back online again.
It hasn't changed in content but physically, it has changed completely.
We're now running off a P4 1.7Ghz Motherboard with 8 Disks of 250Gb with
RAID 5, RAID 0 and RAID 1 over different areas and LVM running over the
lot. One of those disks is set up as a hot spare so our life should be
easier from now on. The old mirror died of a defective root disk, a dud
graphics card and dodgy DMA. May it rest in peace.
What you should be seeing in the next couple of weeks is a content
management system of sorts being put up on the site where you can vote
for your favourite distro. The MLUG needs to know what distros you're
really interested in.
The MLUG wishes to thank Maltanet for their cooperation and 2X Software
(Malta) for sponsoring the mirror rebuild. Great going.
Cheers
