Hello all, I've got a thinkpad T60 and I'm trying to get EVERYTHING to work on Linux. So far I've got the Lenovo utilities, acpi, touchpad and trackpoint, other crap and some special keys to work.
The problem I have is that not all function keys are working. The keys which directly control hardware (such as FN+PgUp, which turns on the thinklight) obviously work. Other keys like the mute, volume up and volume down button, as well as FN+F4 (suspend to RAM) and FN+F12 (suspend to disk) also work. What's not working are keys which are entirely software controlled, such as FN+F3, which is supposed to launch the ThinkVantage power manager utility. When running xev, the keys which are not working don't even generate a code. Also, running dmesg doesn't show any "undetected keys" or stuff as suggested online. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks!
