Guys,

Do you know about these guys? http://mrc.org.mt/.

I was thinking of approaching them to reveal to them the benefits of OSS
for NGOs (if only I did 1/4 of what I think I should do). If I do get
round to doing this, can I use MLUGs name?

More generally, if one of us (not a committe member) goes to give a talk
about OSS, or write an email about an online service not being
accessible via linux, Can that person claim to be X from MLUG.

There are a few reasons why I bring up the point. As our numbers swell
the name MLUG will have more clout, and in many instances, speaking with
an organisation behind you, even if very small (and poor) makes a much
better impression than doing so in a personal capacity. On the other
hand MLUG is to small to appoint sub-commitees or waste time on
beurocratic approvals of public statements, while it needs all the man
power it can muster.

Any lawerish people out there who can help?

Philip
