Ramon, I wasn't meaning you, but actually mentioning Linux is what
seems to have made the trick. I actually said that I cannot use their
service at home as I do not use any Microsoft software at home, but use
Ubuntu Linux.
I was surprised too, so much so that I decided to tell you folk about
it!

I think some of you are being too negative. How about the possibility
that the IT guys there actually care?
I know, its my defect that I try to see the good in anyone, but
honestly, there is the very real possibility that
there are people who are not clueless but who's primary concern is
"il-hobzna ta' kuljum".
When we point these things out we are giving them a
reason/encouragement/pressure to do things right.
I think its even more reason to try harder to get our message out there
... (did I hear "installfesta"?)
Of course being the Tax Department, only an incurable utopist like
myself would dare congratulate them in public.
Unlike lawyers there aren't even any tax collector jokes I can tell. :-p
BTW. A bit belated but prosit for the server upgrade ... but the site
still seems broken on my end :-(
