While I know how keen you are NOT to bring partisan politics into the
list, I think we all agree that MLUG is not just a technical forum,
but also an activist group promoting an idea. To promote an idea you
have to touch politics. Unfortunately it seems that in Malta all
politics has to be partisan :-( I think as long as we keep strictly on
subject, and civil, it is a good thing to make it clear and public
which personalities share our ideas, and who does not.

There are people who "get it:" on both sides of parliament, but
unfortounatly I get the feeling that most just don't have an opinion.
In this sense I think any news of any local personality voicing an
opinion is important for us.
