I personally prefer such a screen shot than a rotated cube which confuses normal ppl (not talking about computer geeks here). This is a migration project. Some departments could possibly still be running Windows 95 - although I doubt it. What is important over here is that we can start rolling out an organized open source alternative as a whole stack to a large number of users.
This can be previously tested and all to avoid hick-ups. I believe this is where the community will shine and show its support not only in words but even in man-power to help such a project go forward. Soon is always better than later.
