scalix is a perfect alternative to exchange - I have deployed at several
companies and it works a beauty with a webinterface which is nicer than the
one of exchange, all the features of exchange and with the same scalability.
Integrates with outlook with a provided outlook connector including client
side caching along with normal pop3/imap interfacing.
