Hey Shaun! Welcome to the interactive side of the list :P The idea behind meeting on Wed is because it has been left free for Degree+, so a lot of students should be free. If those interested in attending are free at any of the times mentioned for Thurs, or any other time, everyone can agree on, it is fine by me (i.e. people interested in attending don't be shy and speak up!).
There is a CIS credit during the 2 hours between our SE and OS credit, so any CIS students and CSA with CIS subsidiary students will be unable to attend. Regarding having computers present, I suppose the first meeting will be more about setting up some sort of structure and goals. Afterwards I am sure that many will be able to bring a laptop along, and as there is WiFi available in many areas of Uni, it shouldn't be a problem to find a place. Seb
