Problem is...that "showing off" old games really isn't likely to 
impress  users, isn't it? Sure, it's a rebuttal to the myth that Linux 
cannot play any games at all, but it still exposes a weakpoint in Linux, 
or a lack of quality - as you prefer ;)

Still, at least you can still get your gaming fix on Linux, which is a 
good thing. I also suggest Doom 3, Quake 4, Quake 3, maybe an MMORPG or 
too..WoW should also run on wine - never tried it myself though.
