Pretty much every operating system invented has problems, be it Windows, Linux, Mac, Unix, you name it. Linux can make me mad sometimes (figuring out why networkmanager on my father's ubuntulaptop fails to connect to wifi when my arch laptop works like a dream, for instance).
If you're good at windows, fine, good for you, but that doesn't mean anything for other OSes. I was also "good at windows", but I was a complete newbie when trying out Linux for the first time, and I probably still am.
