Definitely possible, and no need to stop at 3 either.
Just make sure your grub entries are pointing to the right places and 
you have enough space. On my system I have SUSE, Windows Vista and Arch 
Linux, for instance.

You can also add more distros via virtualisation, but you miss out on 
the 3D niceties, and there is a small drop in speed. Also, you have to 
factor in additional RAM requirements.
