Hi Jean,
Thanks for your interest.
I'm mucking around on a gigabyte mobo, with a AMD 3800+ cpu, 1Gb of DDR2
Ram. Eventually, when confident enough I'll transfer these ideas on my main
machine, which has a E8400 CPU, 4GB RAM. I would like to add dreamlinux as I
find it easier to work with. I think that I would have to start off by
re-partitioning my hdd, so as not to upset my present distros.
Besides the above, I would like to find a way to monitor my pc. On windows I
use SpeedFan from almico.com. I would also like to find a way to increase my
screen resolution on ubuntu; presently it is 1024x...@59hz. I can see no
higher settings, and looking for answers on sites I found that I would have
to know the type of monitor in use...
Well anyway, I'll start withe the 3rd distro. What do I have to do?

Thanks in advance

Charles
