Hi Daniel,

I don't know but it seems that you have lost your vbox user rights. I
think it may be simpler to just do the following:

System -> Administration -> Users and Groups
    : Unlock (with your administrator password)
    : Select Manage Groups
    : Select vboxusers from the list of groups
    : Select Properties
        > In the list of Group Members
            - If your name is already ticked then this is not the
solution for you, sorry.
            - If your name is not ticked then tick it and this should
allow you to work with VBox with your own user name.

I am afraid that this may be just part of the solution but it may make
life easier for you by giving you access writes to VBox.
