The thing which made me angry was that in 11.10 there will be no
synaptic !!!
...to Mint Linux!
It's still early, I've just finished installing and updating. I'm
using the debian edition, a rolling release based on debian
testing. Looks good so far. Not a trace of Unity anywhere :)
Still got a lot of setting up to do, but thanks to LVM I still
have the old filesystems and I can gradually switch everything
over.
