Gents,

As I keep saying, the commitment to open-source within government goes only as 
far as which supplier will be pleased by the choice. There are many people 
within MITA who are very pro open-source, but at the decision making level they 
don't care. It's mostly a publicity stunt.

Whenever (if ever) the government uses open-source solutions, be sure the 
choice was because of the supplier, not because of the technology underlying 
it. We can all take BWSC as an example - we all know who the local 
representative for that was.
