Hi,

This is a presentation I created from scratch and which I have used in
the past at work. It is copyleft, so feel free to use and abuse :)

Most of it is self explanatory, but it might help if I tell you what the
'talk' is during a couple of points.

I use "Buy a House" as an example of 'restricted' property in the sense
that while it is yours, you cannot (legally) change it into a shop, or a
factory or a church etc, you cannot change the structure (especially the
façade) without permission etc.

Of particular interest may be the last main point in the slide entitled
"How Can Something be Given for Free?" where I tried to answer the
question to audiences who have been brought up firmly believing that
"there is no such thing as a free meal", where I explain the sharing
that went on during the birth of computing and the internet and how
these same people and others like them are so disappointed, and angry
even, at the way these have been commercialised.

In the slide (towards the end) entitled "Public Domain, GPL, Open
Source, and Copyleft Software under threat", the answer to the four
questions that are asked are obviously "NO", and the next point is what
is, in fact, true.

Hope this helps.

Effie
