Hope it succeeds. ID games was committed to making Linux exe but they said a few years ago it is not worthwhile but they do it anyway.
There is also Serious Sam. They were developing on Suse and that was a few years ago too. http://files.seriouszone.com/download.php?fileid=1190 but I think it fell into obscurity. And they say they will port HL2 and Counter Strike. I do some HL2 multiplayer so perhaps I'll give it a try on Ubuntu or something. --- On Thu, 5/13/10, Jeremy <[email protected]> wrote: > From: Jeremy <[email protected]> > Subject: Re: [MLUG] Valve's Steam coming to Linux > To: "Montreal Linux Users Group" <[email protected]> > Received: Thursday, May 13, 2010, 1:04 PM > [email protected] > wrote: > > Valve's Steam gaming service and the source engine > will be coming to > > Linux.
