Problem is with most is that they are "fake" raid cards that actually require 
the host to process.  This effectively means "software RAID".  You can already 
do this just using 2 drives on whatever controllers your MB already has if you 
really wanted.  Now if you want REAL RAID.. well that costs....  Real cards = 
less headaches.  Its treted as 1 drive.  To everything.  No screwups, no 
direct-acccessing a member drive directly (got hit with this once myself)
