I wouldn't worry TOO much about US patent thinghies... The US patents office
is the laughing stock of industrialised nations! I've a friend that works
for Industries Canada as a patent officer. She says that roughly 95%+ of US
patents requested here are rejected as in Europe. The US courts are buried
under litigation for ridiculous patents and the government is planing a more
acceptable way of seeing things because of ridiculous patents AND stagnation
in research... To be continued.
