Have a look at electronic box. I got their cable service. I'm getting connected 
june 9th. The prices and packages are better than what videotron offers. But in 
my situation, I only use cable for internet. I have voip with voip.ms and for 
tv I just use OTA with an antenna and an hdhomerun to stream over my network to 
my mythtv.

Obviously if you need phone/tv with a cable company, you'll have to reassess 
the packages offered.

BTW I've been with videotron cable internet since 1998. Never tried dsl since 
cable was always fairly reliable.
