But, you don't have much of a choice, it is DSL or cable. DSL will all be
the same speed, it is speed, caps and customer service that will vary
company to company.

I realize I used speed twice hehe. For DSL Acanac is probably one of the
cheapest, teksavvy one of the best.
Cable is almost always going to give you a better overall service, but low
bandwidth caps. However, videotron now lets you buy extra 60GB blocks for
$12/mo.
I am north of you (deux-montagnes) and use videotron extreme speed as well as
acanac for a backup (but I get 40KB/s down max from DSL so it is almost
useless).
Also check the business videotron plan, last time I checked there was some
decent speed with no usage cap
