One more question I have, regarding SSDs. Technology is changing daily and the ssd devices I have researched emulate a sata 3 drive. If they emulate a drive, with sata cab le connect, do I also need a special driver to format the sectors to a multiple of the ecc blocksize used for potential correction?

Microbytes has it for $120. I am not sure how well the linux kernel supports SSDs. I would like to find out. ------------------ Regards Leslie Mr. Leslie Satenstein 50 years in Information Technology and going strong.
