Hi everyone, Thanks for all the responses, I am talking to the client right now to setup the dates.
I was mis-informed, the hardware is not ready yet, but I will let the people who contacted me know when it is ready. The setup will be fairly simple, we are migrating a large LAMP setup to a new box because the old one is ~7 years old, I do not really care which distribution you use, I personally would prefer Debian/testing, a /boot partition of about 200MB and the rest under / (root), and we will setup a cross over with a private IP between old and new. Again, I will let you all know once the hardware is in place. -nick On Mon, Jun 10, 2013 at 11:13 PM, Nicholas Accad <[email protected]> wrote: > Hey guys, > > I have an old client of mine in Montreal that needs a new server setup > with basic install. > > For those who do not know, I live in Toronto now. > > This is for a server migration, your role is just the initial setup of the > server, and I will probably pass on the whole thing to you once I finish > the migration. > > I will arrange the original introduction, and you can negotiate your > hourly fee with them. > > Please let me know asap as this is time sensitive. > > Thanks > > -nick > >
