While I'm late to this party, I recently received a Raspberry Pi starter kit with a cobbler from Adafruit. I haven't had the chance to play with that yet, but I did finish configuring XBMC on it last week end.
I had never used XBMC before, it's really nice! I had problems trying to figure out the logistic of streaming content from my PC to a big TV in a different room(wires). The Pi, with XBMC, a WiFi USB dongle and a single sshfs mount worked beautifully. Also, I tried running Mame on it, but the performance wasn't there at all. I need to look into it a little more as I've seen some decent games running through Mame on the Pi. I'd really like to be able to hook this up to a TV and play some old arcade games with friends. I'm not sure if it has to be overclocked to run those games or if it's just a matter of allocating more memory to the gpu. -- Ravnox On Wed, 31 Jul 2013 09:47:47 -0400 Philippe Nocq <[email protected]> wrote: > Hi All > > is there someone have test or made anything with raspberrPi? > > Phil, _______________________________________________ mlug mailing list [email protected] https://listes.koumbit.net/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/mlug-listserv.mlug.ca
