All: In searching the list I have found people asking about the disposition of the "tail call optimization" (tailc) patch [0], but I haven't seen an answer to this question...
What is the status of the tailc patch? Is it now hopelessly behind the current code (or is there some chance it will work after manually fixing any fuzz)?
