menyambung informasi dari pak Taufiq tentang oposisi Mars 2005 akan berlangsung
pada 30 Oktober 2005 (bukan 27 Agustus 2005), posisi Mars terdekat patda tahun
ini 69.42 juta km atau sekitar 13 juta km lebih jauh dari yang pernah dicapai
pada oposisi Mars 27 Agustus 2003 (yaitu 55.76 juta km). Aman untuk disaksikan
oleh mata bugil manusia dan teropong atau binokuler. Diameter Bundaran Mars
sekitar 4/5 lebih kecil dari oposisi Mars 2003. Oposisi Mars tahun ini posisi
Mars di belahan langit utara (deklinasi +16 derajat masih bisa disaksikan dari
seluruh wilayah Indonesia). mudah-mudahan bermanfaat
