I agree that 3 buttons that does the same thing is very confusing. I feel stupid now when I look back and for the past 6 months I was using the buttons 2-4 thinking that it was making any difference, but it was not!
Making a button too large is ugly. Maybe just show 1 button would do it. We shouldn't want Mnemosyne making their users feel stupid!
