At least if you can't repair the file, you can extract the missing cards and re-enter them by hand (maybe you can make a shell script using grep/cut/awk etc, to dump them into some simple file format that Mnemosyne can import). However, if you have a rough idea of which line is causing the error, why not try (carefully) deleting that entry altogether and adding that card manually afterwards? It's possible that the cards after the error will work ok?
