If my memory serves me right, the current mnemosyne 2.x codebase contains 
(often refactored) code from Konrad Wojas, Felix Engel, Ed Bartosh, Max 
Usachev, Mike Appleby and Laurent Mauron. I've contacted them privately as 
well to take a look at this thread and give their blessing for a possible 
license change.

There were also many small contributions and patches from the 1.x era, but I 
guess that is not an issue?
