I've been reading some of the supermemo literature (which led me to Mnemosyne),
and if I'm reading it right, there is something about "sleeping on it" that
helps with the whole process.

Is this why Mnemosyne uses a granularity of a day?

Also, given that, is there anything in the literature that indicates if doing
my
memory drills/flashcards during a particular time of day (relative to my sleep
cycle) is better than any other? Since sleep seems to play a role here, I was
wondering if doing the drills just before bed is better (or worse?)

Any literature speak to this?

Thanks
