Just try 'open file' and see if you can find default.mem (or ;whatever
other name you gave your database).

There are also compressed xml backups stored inside C:/documents and
settings/hermant/.mnemosyne/backups

They don't contain all the historical data, though, that one in stored
in the history folder inside your .mnemosyne directory. This info is
not backed up by Mnemosyne.
