Thank you so much!   I did what you said and it is working as it
should.   Also, you gave very good explanation as I obviously never
understood the difference between the Mnemosyne file I found in
Program Files and the .mnemosyne directory in my user file.   Sounds
like they are very different.  So, I should probably mention - that a
while back, not being a computer wiz for starters - it seemed to me it
would be more organized to have the two together and I had moved
my .mnemosyne file to my Mnemosyne Program file.  Oops?   I haven't
had any trouble so far but should I try and separate them?    Which
would, I guess, mean going into the Program File,
selecting .mnemosyne, Edit select cut'', go to Documents and Settings/
User/ and then 'paste' the .mnemosyne file back where it
belongs?
