As mentioned in the dialog box, the cards just get added to all of the other 
cards in the database. 

As for the other dialog you show, that is about activating and deactivating 
certain cards by category. Contrary to the XML fileformat, the txt format does 
not store category information. Hovewer, the import dialog box has an option 
to add a category to all the cards you import. If you leave that dialog box 
blank, they will just be added to database without having been assigned a 
category. I guess this is what happened.

You can still a category later, by going into the edit deck dialog. Click on 
the 'category' header to sort the deck by category. Then you can easier select 
all the cards without category. When they are selected, right click and choose 
'Change category'

Hope this clarifies things somewhat.
