Images are becoming the main component of my mnemosyne workflow. I
usually do by reviews on my laptop, which has limited screen size. I
often don't see the 1-5 choices at the bottom of the screen because
there's not enough space. This isn't a problem as I do all my mnemosyne
stuff keyboard only. It occurred to me it'd be nice to do my reviews in
a full-screen mode. Or at least, have an option often seen in many image
handling programs where you can view an image full screen. I believe in
the next version there are plans for scroll bars so larger images can be
used.
Peter, some time ago there was some discussion about folder layout, and
I mentioned that (one of) the reasons I wasn't keen on anki was that it
stored all the images in a flat folder, where I rely heavily on
meaningful filenames and a structured folder hierarchy. You mentioned at
the time that you'd been looking at putting all images in one place in
the next version but as it appeared I wasn't the only one who preferred
control over image locations and filenames you changed your mind. Is
this still the case for the new version? It's just that this is a big
issue for me in terms of how I organise my cards and add new ones.
Cheers,
Dougie
