Thanks for taking the time to write this down!

How slow is slow? In any case, could you mail me privately your database,
together with a scenario that is slow (e.g. which cards you select, what tag
you edit).

Either double click the name in tag tree, or right click to bring up a pop-up
menu.

I know this is hard to discover at the moment, but informing users about this
is an important point on my pre-release TODO list.

Tim, this might be caused by an interaction with 'increase size of non-latin
characters'.

Excellent suggestion! (BTW, I really appreciate this kind of feedback, these
'surprise' moments during use are precisely the ones I want to eliminate as
much as possible.)

I'll investigate whether this is easy to add, but it will be for post 2.0, I'm
afraid.

Was fixed in current dev code.

But the new cards you created in card type A with the new tag don't show up in
set B, right, so at least that's OK?

Until I implement the mind reading module, Mnemosyne has no way of knowing
that you never plan to assign a card from set B to this new tag, so it
activates it by default.

Note that this shouldn't cause any unexpected behaviour in your case: since
cards with this new tag are only in card type A, they will never show up in
set B. Or, to put in another way, since there are no cards with the new tag in
set B, it does not matter whether this tag is active in set B or not.

Hope this is somewhat clear.

Since my drawing skills are next to none, I'm afraid I'll have to rely to
somebody else to provide a clear icon that fits with the rest of the icons :-)

Bug in Qt...

I know, but it requires adding extra libraries to sqlite, and it does not seem
to be straightforward to do this cross-platform. Post 2.0, I'm afraid, unless
somebody beats me to it :-)

Fear not, this is on my TODO list pre 2.0.

My pleasure, and thank you for the feedback!
