If you're using Win 7, go to Start->Control Panel->Appearance and Personalization->Display It should give you an option to set the text to "Medium 125%". To the left of that, you'll see an option to "Set custom text size (DPI)". On my system, Mnemosyne is about the same font size as typical text displayed by the OS.
