*.mem files are 1.x database files. If you want to migrate your data
from your 2.0 Windows install, you need to copy the data directory
which contains default.db and default.db_media and put its contents in
~/Library/Mnemosyne

placed). Maybe I placed the default.mem in the wrong folder in the
iMac? At least the trouble started after this, but I hadn't been
using the iMac Mnemosyne for some days before I added the
default.mem file, so it's hard to say. Maybe I have not managed to
erase all the old Mnemosyne files, before I try to install the
program again?
