The bz2 backup only includes your learning data, not external media. In the card browser, look at the cards with the missing_media tag, which will give you a hint of what files are missing. If you have a tag like <img src="bla.png">, Mnemosyne expects bla.png in the default.db_media directory, which is typically in C:\users\Kevin\Application Data\Mnemosyne\default.db_media.
