You're right; such a feature would be ideal. In fact, the two most requested features of Mnemododo are synchronisation and card editing. The protocol used, however, is very modest---it was originally designed for very basic J2ME phones---and it is not trivial to add these features. Peter has implemented a synchronisation protocol for Mnemosyne, and he has plans to eventually implement it on Android. Until then, you could try using a file synchronisation service to synchronise your phone with your PC, but please take note of these precautions: https://groups.google.com/d/msg/mnemosyne-proj-users/PV6EMU9H3b8/46NB1LtYwqoJ Tim.
