I'm getting the same error. When I import from lists with the audio files in
the same column as the term, I get a missing media message for every term. I
tried exporting some files from Mnemosyne (tab-delimited text files, UTF-8,
Arabic and English) and then reimporting, and the same thing occurred.
If I imported the file manually (ctrl-S), not only did the file work fine, but
the originally added file also would play. If I then deleted newly added file,
the original one continued to work with no problem. Somehow the program doesn't
seem to know where to look for the audio files (the names are simple enough -
Arabic.db and Arabic.db_media, in the Mnemosyne folder in Application data.
This depends on whether you specify a full path or a relative path in
the card text.
If you first copy "a.mp3" to "Arabic.db_media/a.mp3", then an import
with a sound tag like <sound src="a.mp3"> should work without any problems.
Also, with all this importing of files, the duplicates check finds lots, but
they don't show up (in Browse cards) when the DUPLICATE tag is checked.
Feel free to mail me this database privately if you want, so that I can
have a look at it.
