Actually, if you do use dropbox, for the science server it's best to
sync the entire directory, including config files.
But if you are in the position to use one of your machines as a
(temporary) server, Mnemosyne's built-in sync mechanism is certainly
recommended :-)

I use Google Drive for lots of other things but when I make files
available offline in Google's app the files stored on the phone are
encrypted.
I can copy them back and forth from the Google Drive to my SD card
manually but that is a bit tedious.
Could you update Mnemododo to work with Google Drive directly?
