So today I was updating my Mnemosyne 2.x .card export for my Dropbox copy, and I ran into an issue: it seems by default, Mnemosyne forgets a good chunk of the metadata one enters in when making the export. Specifically:
- it doesn't increment the 'revision' counter, as is logical - it forgets the title (eg. I had titled my first export 'Gwern's flashcards (~2008-2013)' but when I went to export, the title field was empty) - and it forgets all the keywords/tags one specifies to describe the deck contents Am I doing something wrong or is the export functionality just lacking this? I was confused because it seems to retain just fine my name and email address, so I expected it to hold onto the other fields as well.
