A few years ago, the hard drive crashed on my Mnemosyne and I lost my card database. The good news is that I managed to recover the data (except for the last a few days) from a backup and I have been happily using it on my new computer ever since.
The problem is that I have never been able to synch the desktop version with my laptop. Looking forward, I would like to do so I can keep up my studies when my family goes on long trips. When you open Mnemosyne on the laptop, it says "default" at the top. When you open Mnemosyne on the desktop, it says "default-2012206-224734" at the top. I suspect that I need to rename the version of Mnemosyne on the desktop in order to synch with the laptop. Does anyone have any ideas about how to do this?
